That is just pitiful! Dear lord give those ladies a special place in heaven!!!!!

I see my wife in a lot o those posting here who disagree with you. She doesn't believe this Apostolic message and is as rebellious and stubborn as those criticizing YOU for YOUR beliefs.

[Yeah, yeah.....I hear all the "blind obedience" boo-birds cacklin' already.]

It's a wonderful thing to see a man and wife submitted to each other and holding to more modest dress standards than has crept into the Apostolic ranks.

I also find it amazing how much "good grief" and "I don't know what to say" is going on. I see "things" are alive and well (and unchanged) on good ol' AFF. It's like a soap opera --- tune in every couple of weeks and you are immediately introduced to the same characters saying the same things about the same topics as when you signed off.

Stay strong, pastor. Some of us recognize and appreciate true godly, scriptural submission!!
PLEASE explain to me how wearing hose makes you modest? If you have a long skirt/dress on, what's the hose doing to contribute to the modesty?

OK I have been reading a bit and I guess that is my question too. What is it about hosery that is better, more modest or Christlike?

This is a fair question and for my part - I could care less. I am not even sure my wife wears them regularly. Is this something I should investigate?

No, Stephen that makes you normal. You trust your wife to make modest choices!

I am very anxious to see what the belief behind this hosiery hooey is.

That sort of thing ticks me off, frankly. When people are modest and consistent and preach holiness standards, that's one thing. But when they preach these standards and then are hypocritical like that, it really gets to me.

I'm thinking in the back of this wee pea brain of mine that it has something to do with equating them to a chasity belt. (ya know, in a non exposed sense).

However, if they wear knee highs, then that blows that theory.
