Didn’t know I needed hermeneutics to give something freely. Maybe Abraham need to get his hermeneutics right too?

Do you believe that Abraham tithed money?

Is that what you’re saying?

It something to think about. Are our pastors in danger of hellfire. Paul mentioned that lest he preaching to them, he himself should become a castaway. We don’t seem to believe a pastor can be lost.
1 Corinthians 9:27
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

I don’t think you are quoting that verse correctly

Are you sure?

You said that you received $6,000.00 a year in “church resources” IIRC. Then you said most of the church resources came from tithes?

Am I right?

I wasn’t quoting that verse. I was reminding you of that verse. If I’m quoting, I usually either cut and paste or use quotation marks.

I enjoy it too. But the best part is that I learn from it!

That would be incorrect. Tithes and offerings are how our church receives its resources, but my salary isn’t connected to anyones 10%. I have heard of preachers who preach they should receive the tithes while offerings go into the treasury. I have wanted to post my contributions to the local church to vindicate myself, from the covetousness, theft, and extortion that you have suggested that tithe teachers are guilty of, but I feel like I would then be doing my alms before men.

That is the reason for my comparison. I am not Sabbath breaker, Jesus is my Sabbath.
Moses never commanded people that they "cannot leave your dwellings on the Sabbath" (EXCEPT to tell people not to go out to gather manna on the Sabbath). Where in the world do people get this stuff from?

WE don't bake any food, or boil water, or go out gathering sticks for firewood (or whatever) on the Sabbath.

You say you aren't a Sabbath breaker, yet you don't seem to even know what is actually commanded in regards to the Sabbath. So how could you even know if you were or were not a Sabbath breaker? And no, Jesus isn't your "Sabbath". The Bible tells us what the Sabbath is, it says "... the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God". It was holy before Adam ever sinned and got kicked out of the Garden, the Israelites were commanded to REMEMBER the Sabbath (remember means it was already there in place, they weren't commanded to "make the sabbath").

If you do not REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY, then you are a Sabbath breaker. Simple. As.

Why do people insist on just making up doctrines that are not found anywhere in the Bible? "Jesus is my Sabbath" said no Bible writer ever.
