Seperation is deeper than that...
But truely said... although our Western mode of dress has completely been transformed not by God but by the World.. mostly Homosexual.. is this an influence you would defend?
I think that scripture is very clear on dress...

On you second point I disagree.Up to the second century Christians, mostly Jews remained part of the synagogue structure and constructed services as such.
Isn't it a fact that the Jerusalem church required Timithy to be circumcised as well as Paul participating in a purification ritual?
These thing were foriegn to Gentiles
Synagogue requiremed that eh Torah scroll be read in Hebrew AKA New Tongue.

revran my point still remain. OK so they were preaching the Word of God. It was being delivered in Hebrew, a language the Gentiles could not understand.
It is proven that the Judaic customs were still being followed by Timothy being required to be circumsised

if you are UC on dress lets not go there. I don't want to have to prove you wrong!
Lets just stay on tongues and why they are not the evidence you speak of.

If just living right and praying right and being right were enough why would Cornelius and his Household need the Holy Ghost?
He was an devout man... who prayed daily... he was in our widely used term today...Already a "Christian"... why would he need the Holy Ghost?

The First Miracle is them Speaking in Tongues.... and what Better way for God to show His glory to man then when all the Jews from all parts of the Earth were come to the Homeland to celebrate Pentecost?
I believe that those that were hearing were actually hearing their own or second langauges... knowing that those speaking could not have known the tongue or dialect of the lands where they now lived...

I think this will sum up my point of view. It is God's heaven not mine. He can allow anyone in that He wants to. As far as my opinion goes, I feel that you need to be repent from your sins and accept Jesus in your life. This is #1
I feel that this is almost the most important part because it is the first stone in building a relationship with God and Him building one with you.
Everyone should be baptized to wash the sins away. Now I do not think remission happens only at baptism or only at repentance. But I think repentance is the biggest part of the pie. Anyone can get dunked in water, but until they come to the place where they can understand it then it is meaningless I guess. The HG allows us to be witnesses for Him. I believe that anyone can witness, but not very affectively until they have the had an experience with the HG. That the way I see it.

Kutless...
Concerning Timothy it was peer pressure that caused Paul to admonish Timothy to be circumsized as to be accepted by the Jews... I seriously doubt it was something Timothy as an adult would be inclined to do... but he did out out of submission to his Pastor (if you will) Paul...
