Dallas tends to be on the dry side as far as humidity is concerned.
and while hot is always hot, wet and hot is miserable.
but wet and hot and very little wind is beyond miserable.
My mom is from Wichita Falls, and she always talks about how miserable the humidity in TX is, but I don't know. It seems to me that it can't be worse than blistering, searing heat. IMO.
I guess I would have to live there to ever make a real comparison. With the humidity, how do those temps that you listed actually play out? I know that I have heard that it feels hotter because of the humidity.
My daughter went to Houston last summer, and she said that the humidity didn't bother her that much.
