Thank you for responding, TJJJ. We, of course, are unaware of the name that you call your wife , which would lead some of us to feel terrible on her behalf. I still say that if I was your wife and you called me "Woman", we would be having a major discussion. NO way I would put up with that. But hey, if it works for the two of you - I'll keep my nose out of it.

I do appreciate you explaining. That was kind of you.

Without sounding all gushy....

Very Biblical

Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

We have laughed about this for 20 years!

Reminds me of an X-Files episode, where Mulder and Scully were undercover as a husband and wife. When the enter "their" house, Mulder says "Woman? Get into that kitchen and make me a sandwich!"

Ya know Margie, she is very scriptural in what she does also. She be good woman!

The verse she uses is this one.

1Pe 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

The problems is, she has a little drawl in it comes out more like.... yes Lawrd!!

Turkey and mashed potatoes, etc. I purchased two hormone free turkeys on sale and stuck them in the freezer!

I am so in the mood for turkey and mashed potatoes today!
