I hope that charging a fee doesn't interfere with the small home missions and foreign missions pastors being able to go to general conference. It is probably financially stressful enough on them as it is.

I agree, it is ridiculous. Charging to attend business meetings and service. What new tax will they come up with?

Many will be heard saying, "I thought that was what my dues were for!"

Our $100 pledge from NFCF went it and I've got the receipt to prove it!

Guilt.
Why, you presented stats for a long time to show there is favor. Let it vote, and we will find out many may be surprised.

As far as charging- BAH!

If I go, it will be to go and vote only. Why do I have to pay admission to something that is my right and privilage to perform?

They already raised my dues this year $48 and now to say I have to pay to vote on that?

It's dumb!

These millionaire preachers and saints need to give more in the offerings!

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea. This means the church with 40 ministers sitting has more of a vote than the Home Missionary with no ministers.

It then leans the vote if the 40 all attend.

I hear the phrase now from many local congregrations when the pastor tries to take a special offering for the building fund -- "I gave at GC"
