There’s a thought! Some people “backslide” because the pastor didn’t greet them last service.

This took place somewhere outside of the university.

I have my own, but I want to hear from others.

Thoughts on what exactly?

Maybe I should ask, what is being accomplished?

We would have to assume many different things to be able to give an answer.
A bunch of people gathered together, hugging, praying, swaying, lifting hands, weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

I’m assuming your talking about what some have deemed the Asbury Revival.
I haven’t looked into this at all, but I’ll give you my gut reaction to your post.
If those young people are sincere, and there is an individual/s that is asking those questions. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that many young people wouldn’t receive the Holy Ghost.

Like the saying goes, a fisherman will go to the lakes, ponds etc.. where the fish are biting. Looks to me like those young people are hungry (spiritually). Probably many if not all those young didn’t have the intention of receiving the Holy Ghost when they started this. Yet, it’s not how you begin that matters most, yet how you end. Let’s see how this plays out.

Re: Bott 2023

I guess I should ask, how would it be handled if a Baptist (or insert denomination here) preacher showed up outside of an apostolic revival, camp, or meeting and began to preach his doctrine.

Of an Apostolic revival, camp, or meeting, he'd be ignored?

Or if it was UPCI revival, camp, or meeting , they'd let him teach a class on finances?

If Chris Reed and friends' revival, camp, or meeting, they would ask if he had a relative whose name started with the letter B?

A comment of a user in YouTube:

After the praise team sang a few songs, they left to go eat lunch. While they were gone, a small group of students were hanging around & praying for one another. One guy started to share his testimony (with just the remaining few students) of how he attempted suicide a few years ago. But the Lord spared him and he was repentant and so grateful for God saving him from dying. Then the other girl said that is when the atmosphere shifted & the outpouring of the Spirit happened and fell in the place. She contributed it to the young man sharing his testimony in humility and repentance. The praise/gospel team came back to the Chapel from lunch and began singing again, as the students were still there. And the rest is history.
(This is firsthand from students that were in the chapel when the outpouring began and the University administrators during a ZOOM meeting.)
The last preaching before the event began:

Numerous people are saying there is no preaching taking place, just singing and hugging and whatnot.

Tony Campolo's ministry associates and friends have been there and are very pleased with what's going on.

Todd Bentley tried to get involved but it didn't go any where.

The University is reportedly going to end the meetings so people are trying to scout out another off campus location.
Brother, do you have the source for that? that would be crazy.

I'm so sorry, I mean no offense ( I know that's hard to believe )

But, that video of the preaching was drier than a mummy's pocket.

Please forgive me in advance.
