Supposedly, Ehud is unaware of any Apostolic prophets with a platform (such as the Internet?) that would allow for global outreach. Apparently, you too also have no idea and believe that all Apostolic prophets only prophesy what isn't worth repeating.

I therefore asked:

Must I quote the forum rules?

"We welcome and encourage visitors of other faiths to post and ask sincere questions in their honest search to learn more of our faith ... The propagation of any doctrine that is contrary to the Apostolic doctrine is not welcome here."

So your admitting to breaking the rule about being “ honest “. You should be ashamed of yourself lol

What could be more honest than fully accepting your confessions as being representative of what you truly believe?

Re: I would like to speak with new tongues

Back to the discussion at hand. I for one arent trying to scrape you off by invoking bylaws.

I think there is a difference between OT prophets and NT believers with the gift of prophecy and who occupy that position in the 5 fold ministry given to grow us up in the full measure of Christ.

Jesus said,"Of all prophets born of woman there is none greater than John the Baptist....but the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he".

So it seems as if Jesus is acknowledging that there is a shift of ministry types and a sort of redistribution that goes from just a few key figures but now is given to all believers...those with His Spirit.

Prophets and those who function in that office...its not to become a Elijah or Moses figure...its to be conformed to the image of Christ.

Have I prophesied?

Yes.

Do I occupy an "office"?

Not a clue.

I dont get a pay check and I dont have a title or even business cards but God has shown me things in visions and things that I have heard...things that have happened, things that are happening and things that will happen.

I don't go around filling up a church with people waiting for me to perform some sort of shtick like "reading their mail" but in engaging in discussion and ministry with those I meet there has DEFINITELY been something other than just myself active and speaking through me to them that knows just where to minister and what about.

This isnt something that I can consciously turn off and on and I am actually glad it doesnt work that way but sometimes I don't even know how significant what I am saying actually is until afterwards cause to me...its just a thought...tangent...rant...something Im not connecting with as applying to the person in front of me.

It seems that God will employ a motormouth like me at times to just spill.

This being said...its not like prophets are some kind of Rosetta Stone tapping into some sort of wave length speaking in unison like a Borg drone in a collective hive mind.

This isnt Supernatural dude where the "prophet" is only one person at a time and can just translate "demon and angel tablets"

This is a welling up of the Spirit and the person with the Spirit has to yield to it....thats what Ive discovered...its about listening yielding...opening my mouth and speaking when fear would have me avoid the topic or message due to insecurity, fear of how someone would perceive me.

All that being said...you are being a bit trollish and when that happens people tend to be a but guarded.

You're also engaging in debate and arguments with those that may be new to this faith and going off of more of what has been taught to them and what they have heard preached rather than any experiential wisdom.

Thanks for mentioning the 5 fold ministry given to grow us up in the full measure of Christ.

I don't see how Jesus is implying that in the verse you cited.

First of all, prophets that fail aren’t prophets. In the OT, they were said to have spoken presumptuously and were to be killed.

Second, would you rather me lie to you? I cannot name an Apostolic prophet that fits your criteria. (You apparently can’t either or you wouldn’t be asking us, but that is neither here nor there.) Simply having the internet is not “having a platform.” There are plenty of nutjobs on the internet that don’t have a worldwide audience, let alone influence.

Third, what you have used as criteria — explaining Daniel and Revelation — are not prophetic in nature. You appear to be seeking a teacher, not a prophet. You also appear to think those events are still to come. That is why I previously mentioned Brother Michael and Brother LeDeay. I believe both hold to a futurist position.

I don't believe that Jonah spoke presumptuously or that he failed as a prophet.

Yet prophets are listed in the 5 fold ministry that you mentioned, given to grow us up in the full measure of Christ. I believe that's mightily important.

The only criteria that I have for an Apostolic prophet is that they have something to say worth repeating -- good enough to be published on the Internet.
