Trump supports a national registry of all Muslim citizens.
Trump has appointed men who support internment camps for Muslims.
Trump supports revoking citizenship to flag burners.
Trump supports the creation of a special department with the authority to go door to door to find illegal immigrants and deport them.

Guess what? Tillerson has ties to Vladimir Putin going way back into the 1990's when Tillerson headed up Exxon Mobile's Russian operations.

Sigh. There's no proof Tillerson is some Russian mole or plant. Of course Tillerson had ties to Putin. As the CEO of a massive, global energy company, he likely has ties to dozens of foreign leaders.

Honestly, that part of Tillerson is the most appealing for SoS. It would be good to have someone who knows foreign leaders and is able to make deals.

What is more concerning than any alleged (unproven) dirty Russian connections would be his conflict of interest if chosen as SoS.

Exxon's deal with Russia was stopped by sanctions a couple years ago, something in which a SoS would likely be involved. He has to completely and totally separate himself from his company -- stocks, investments, everything. There cannot be any whiff of a conflict of interest as SoS.

The meeting between Trump and AlGore makes Tillerson even more interesting, since Tillerman was the one who changed Exxon's view on climate change. Tillerson believes climate change is a real, global problem which warrants action -- and even embraced the CARBON TAX as the "best potential policy solution."

He's also a big supporter of free trade, which shouldn't be a surprise, but which puts him at odds with Trump's current line of thought.
