They do not have the eveidence to take the men because no one has been offering up who the rapists are (the men who actually impregnated the girls) as far as I know. That is why they were questioning the women and children.

So if a rapist impregnates an underage girl in a community, that is just cause to detain ALL the children in the whole community (for their own protection) against their will?
We better round up every kid, from every inner city to protect them from any would-be nieghborhood pimps.

I think the premise would be that since this is a compound, making it one property, when they have evidence (ie. pregnant children) of abuse, by law all children would have to be removed and checked out to see if they were OK.

The women there don't seem like they have a choice in the matter as far as allowing anything. It's probably more their husbands doing.

Brother,
Did You see where the authorities took away the Mother's cell phones?
I believe there will be charges brought against some of these Mommas as well as the Daddies.
Nina
Also there were probably only 10 or so Daddies involved.
These Dads generally have 30 or 40 kids by several different women.

In communities like that the women have no voice.

Just think.... ALL these women are probably under the impression that they would be in REBELLION!!!!!!!! if they spoke out against their husband/overlord.
And since REBELLION!!!! is as the sin of witchcraft..... And the husband is anointed as in "Touch not mine anointed"......

Brother,
They actually believe they are right (about their eternal reward being determined by how many children they create to populate heaven)
And we are wrong to disallow this.

Re: Whoa! Polygamist solution is frightening...
you wonder how people become involved...but it happens little by little...until there is no way out. Those that were born there think that is normal...many communities never let the children even go off the grounds...so sad.

If what you are saying were true, law enforcement would have the right to remove all children living in apartment complexes because of one person who gets abused. I think this whole situation is going to take a good long time to clear up in the courts.

That's not correct. An insurance company can deny you the coverage when you apply for it, but, once the policy is issued, they can not deny claims because you have gained weight.
