I think I have heard it all now! I would invite you to our new church where people come dressed ANY way you can imagine and worship with passion. Sometimes I am in a suit and tie; suit and open collar; slacks and shirt---yet always preach with my heart. Nothing casual about it.

I will say this......if you demand a suit----makes sure it fits and the tie matches and the shoes are shined.

For all of our dress demands, Pentecostals are the sloppiest people of any church on Sunday! Don't get me started on the stringy/oily hair that we swear is God's glory.

No where does it say that if you do not wear a Suit to Church will send you to hell, but there is a trend into making Church "Casual" instead of an important place to meet God.

You can go to Church in a glad garbage bag, I don't care.
That's between you & God.

I do see a trend that is disturbing in that there does not seem to be the respect for the House of God like it once was.

It is reflected in many avenues, one of which is---dress.

So a suit/tie automatically means you respect the house of God. Is there a specific hair style I need to start doing?

Many of the ministers that visit here are fishing or hunting and very few bring suits or ties.They are always welcome to minister to the congregation.
We are happy to have them. this isn't a place where someone just happens to be passing through .
