well i disagree with some of your statements, as they are made out of emotions, why would anyone want to reffer to a free will baptist as stiff willed, I work with one and i wouldnt label him that.

i understand you want a genuine thirst for the Spirit of God, but at the same time you have not prooved that people are not having them as you. while i agree i wouldnt want a drill instructer in the pullpit but at the same time, doesnt mean every where is like that.

my old trinitarians charasmatic pentacostal church of God, had a Good mix of boths, still do date some of the best preaching i ever heard, however the pastor moved on after 16 years, The move of the spirit never was beat on any one, it wasnt because of pentacostal heritage.

It was simple people getting excited about the word and that turned into praise and worship and that inturned became a move of God.

They didnt get excited because some one was beating them verbally to get excited, so i cant relate to your circumstance sorry

I was in ministry for about just under 7 years, preaching semi regularly for about 4. Typically the evangelist is someone who needs to be booked and happens to know the right people. I've gone out to dinner with ministers after church and they talk about buildings, cars, one preacher who has a clock on his steeple, how much it cost, which preacher in the district is closer to making his first million, blah, blah, blah. It was sad bro. So very sad. It seemed like the more I learned about ministry... the more I just wanted to walk away.

If you want a different perspective... you have an entire body present. Is there not a brother or sister who can be brought forward to bring a fresh insight? In I Corinthians 14 we see participative meetings where EVERYONE was permitted to prophesy in turn. In most churches you have at least four or five men with a call on their lives. Why not allow the body to minister to itself? That's how it was in Paul's day.

if you want to sit in your seat and worship thats you, i however had shown many verses about singing, praising shouting, clapping and dancing to the Lord.
There's nothing wrong with the things you listed. But you have to admit...just watch the video again... the worship leader is "prompting" the crowd. Anyone who knows how to work a crowd can see what he's doing. That's what Pentecost is becoming. We're becoming all show. The charismatics are the greatest offenders with their mega churches and concert halls with glorified religious entertainment and no real substance.

Minute 4:14. " I WANT TO SEE THE CHOIR SHOUT! "

Becoming? I saw and participated with exactly this, often, in my *chutch* in 1979. It's pentecostal tradition, and nothing new.

To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln referring to a book he read, "It's very good, provided you like that sort of thing."

This is what I am talking about.

What does the phrase, "God inhabits the praises of His people" refer to?

What does the phrase, "sacrifice of praise" refer to?

I have personally started out praising God out of a made up mind to praise God-- without the goosebumps and fast music-- and have witnessed a moving of the Holy Spirit follow that decision.

I have also seen and experienced personally where human exuberance encouraged more human exuberance.

Is any of this unbiblical?

If it doesn't happen in your services, why not?

If it is not happening in your gatherings, how can you possibly be satisfied?

Is it unbiblical to encourage praise and worship from other people?

Is it unbiblical to encourage others to praise and worship God?

Is the worship leader in clip 1 making sport of leading others to worship? Is that the root of the objections?

Is it the appearance of someone "cheerleading" the congregation to praise and worship unbiblical, ungodly?

What would then be the objection to the Bro Suber clip?

That's because it's crowd dynamics. An atheist could walk into a church and begin to "worship" and you'd see the same effect. It's nothing new. It's thoroughly documented. Remember Borat? lol

umm i dont think its unbiblical to have people encourage your to praise God what do you think david was doing in his songs, He was encouraging praise and worship, with instruments and danceetc etc, so it is not really unbiblical
