Dude it is tough being right all the time. Sometimes I think of admitting failure just to see what it feels like but then I think nah it is probably overrated.

Don't you think if someone offers an apology, you should graciously accept it, even if you didn't request it?

Not only did I not request it I found it unnecessary. I don't walk around getting offended all the time. Besides it seems like posturing to me.

Problem is Baron, the rest of us aren't here practicing courtroom antics. I understand emotional detachment might be a great benefit there at times...

Perhaps not the best choice of words. Just say'in Deadeye's explanation and apology seemed sincere enough to me (as someone who is reading this without any vested interest at all). Whether you requested it or thought he was oversensitive is not really at issue.
