How about fresh cut grass? Can you get that?

Or even better - how about fresh sawdust!
I saw some of the Chandlers talking about "fresh cut grass" on my forum. I poured a Cucumber Melon which smelled so much like it, I never checked into it. LOL I don't like Cucumber Melon.

I'll probably restock my Sweet Pea. I think that will be good for Spring.

Funny, many of my candle friends said the Christmas Tree scent never sells. I carried a Balsam which I called, "Christmas Wish" and never sold one.

When I clearanced them out I sold a couple. I melted them down into "firestarters". People wanted them then. They don't mind the pine smell if it's coming from the fireplace, apparently. lol

Re: Candle Scents - Your favorites?

I buy mostly food scents... I have Lemon Meringue Cake and Birthday Cake, I like Hazelnut Chocolate and Cucumber Melon... I seem to always go for the food.
My husband likes them as well...

Do you have any "drink" scents? Green Tea, or something wine.... (I don't drink but they might make good scents or scent names)

You make them in different ways, but I mix potpourri and fragranced wax in cupcake liners with a couple of wicks. Of course the liners need to be in a cupcake pan. lol Wrap them up and sell them for .50 each.

It's a very good way of getting your money back on wax you tested and didn't want. No waste.

I did a really pretty set with a brown crust and red cake. They looked like miniature Cherry Cheesecakes.

I just tested a Green Tea. I like it, but it's very light. Not sure it would go over. Wax only holds so much fragrance, so if someone tells you it's triple scented - they are really lying. lol

I have Champagne and Roses burning right now. Not sure what I think. I usually have to test burn about four times to make up my mind. Although on the first burn I knew I loved the Dogwood.

I also have a Wedding Cake that is awesomenator!!!! I will probably carry that one.

Hmmm, I think I figured out the three I need now. lol

Oh, and Hazelnut Coffee. I do carry that one. I call it "French Cafe". I have little wax coffee beans on top. I love whipping the wax for the milky forth on top. Fun, fun!

Here's a picture:

I'm changing my labels. I simply can't stand the kraft paper.

Have that one. Ordered from two different suppliers. One of them was not Birds of Paradise. I don't know what they thought it was, but it smelled like bug spray!
