Someone asked me the other night if I knew that somone/s took pictures of a could having sex just to prove they were involved several times before marriage? No, I did not and the information was not exactly correct however,
Sin is a horrible thing the same devil that tempts us makes sure we are caught! Be sure your sins will find you out.

There is a difference in sins and weights...we do not want either!

However some of the greatest people that have been used of God were deep sinners but they REALLY repented.

I say if you are in sin repent...there is forgivenss. Some believe people that fall into sexual sins can never minister but that is not always my opinion.

David was a great example of this. David was still God's anointed King even though he fell into the sexual sin of adultery, and even had the woman's husband killed. He thoroughly repented and God did not sit him down for 6 months after the fact either...he just forgave him.

Sounds good but that's not really what happened...

Here is what His Sin Cost him....

10Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.

11Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

12For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

13And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

14Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

15And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

16David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

17And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

18And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?

19But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.

There is always consequences to sin, but the fact remains...God forgave him and he was still the King.

Yes David was forgiven. Yes he remained King of Israel.

But aren't Ministers that fall prey to sin/adultery handled under the New Testament guidelines for being a Bishop or Deacon?

Sex before marriage is fornication, which is a sin. If you ask for forgiveness you will receive it but you will have lost something that you will never regain.
Even if you marry the person you had sex with it was still wrong. Sex is to come only after marriage.

It isn't specifiied as such, although many like to voice their own interpretation.
