ILG thanks for posting this I know you think that you are just blowing off steam,however I gleened many things that ministered to me from this.Some things also were a confirmation of things [ toxic faith ] very good.Last night I went to visit another church and God was ministering to me about that same thing.I don't have time or space to say [write ] it all .Just know your words are not wasted.

ILG, I am with Mr Steinway. I appreciate you sharing your story. I truly do! It helps me to understand some of the things I've read that you've written before much better. It does make me sad tho. I am sad that you had to experience all that you went thru. And I sincerely hope that amidst all the negative, there were also some positive experiences mixed in.
So where are you now? Do you attend a church? What kind? I assume that you no longer consider yourself conservative? (I assumed that before I ever read this ) How has this whole thing effected your walk with GOD?

Thanks, HO. I think I'm different in real life than most people expect by reading what I write. I smile and laugh pretty easily. I'm not someone who walks around with a cloud of doom and gloom all the time. But I have been through a lot. If I need to gain perspective, I would like nothing more than to do that.

ILG, I think there is alot that could be learned by alot of us from reading your post. For those in positions of authority especially, I would hope that they would read and feel your pain and understand that there are changes that could be made to prevent this from happening to someone else. I appreciate your courage in sharing this with all of us. I feel sure that it was not an easy thing to re-live as you were writing it.
