Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Pinto Beans that I cooked all night in the crock pot, brown rice and roasted vegetables - red bell pepper, mushrooms, onions and zucchini; sprinkled with Sea Salt, pepper and olive oil.

My husband fried himself a steak to go with the above.

Handful of raisins for my dessert.

My husband is eating coffee cake with melted butter.

Oh, I LOVE the Ultimate Feast. I get that once a year or so. Usually anniversary or Valentines Day.

Tonight we had baked tilapia with lemon and a smidge of butter, canned baked beans, stuffing, and garlic cloves.

I get it about once a year too. LOL (Red Lobster is always a little bit, or sometimes a lot, more expensive than the other big chains it is often seen by -Olive Garden, TGIFridays, etc....)

Tonight it was some frozen "taco rolls" on a paper plate in the microwave.

Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?

Thought I'd resurrect this old thread and see what's cookin'. Tonight I fixed Swiss Steak, buttered new potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, and Crescent rolls. Yumm!!! Good old home cooking! Last night we went to Olive Garden after church and spent about $40, so I said tonight we are eating AT HOME! I get tired of spending so much at restaurants.

Tomorrow being Easter though, we will probably eat out since I won't have time to cook.

My shirt sleeves go to my wrists. My jeans go to my ankles too.

I actually was teasing; my dress is sleeveless, but I have a long sleeved sweater that goes over it!! My dress is almost to my ankles. So I will be in true holiness form tomorrow.
