Re: Donald Trump 666 to usher in the Mark of the B

Oh sorry, a modern day, Greek "scholar".

Which is full of wonderful new definitions of ancient Greek words.

The individual who you watched in the video was correct. It would have to be the Greek letter numerals if it was what was being carved, engraved, or embossed. Branding in Greek would be δαλόν, which in the LXX is translated as firebrand. A burning glowing charred piece of wood. The 1st century reader was shown that this beast was going to stamp with a signet, or engrave with a chisel the mark in their foreheads or their right hand.
I would imagine then, that it will be a mark that can't be washed off with soap and water!

Then that would be the Greek word στίγμα which Paul said that he had in his body. Which wouldn't necessarily come off with washing. But could be a tattoo, even a brand? But the word means to make a dot with a point on the skin. Yet, during the first century it meant to mark someone like a thief or a slave

What?

Really, so no one living today can understand ancient Egyptian?

Now I'm going to help you.

Please think this through before you post.

Oh sorry, Biblical languages of ancient times have left us "dictionaries" for "scholar's" to read.

I must enroll in seminary to get hold of those ancient Bible dictionaries.

Then I can have fun creating new definitions too.

Better yet, the oldest "dictionary" I can use for ancient Bible words in my language is the KJV.

Yeah, good idea.

OK, sorry.

Again, are you saying that no one today can understand and read ancient Egyptian or Babylonian? Have you ever heard of a king by the name of Ashurbanipal?

They kinda can, which "kinda" is not a qualifier for the word of God.

Great, now the 17th century A.D. English is not only an ancient language, but it is a Biblical ancient language.

So no one can read any of the ancient languages? They come close?
How does one come close to reading the word "cat?"

Please, this is interesting.
