Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

I just wanted to drop in and say that Sister Cindy was a sweet lady, and Sarilda and I are praying for the family.

Blessings to all.

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

Another former member coming by to pay due respect to our dear Sis Cindy.

I didn't realize she also went all the way back to FCF until Apostolic kitty
mentioned that she was Texas Granny, whom I remember

That means several of us go back many years with Cindy

Anyhow, as with others, I did continue to have dialogue with her on face book.

She loved her dear state of Texas and whenever Texas would come up,
she would be right there defending it or trying to entice me to move there

She has left a hole in our hearts and she will be missed greatly!
She truly impacted a lot of lives. I am praying for her family.
I know they have to be pleased hearing how she was so special to us

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

Who else but Sister Nash could be friends with such diverse groups of people ?

I think it is telling that so many former members, and members who just don't post much anymore, have returned to speak about such a lady. It was so touching to log on and see your names...it's been a long time.

Cindy didn't let labels and personal views keep her from simple kindness...she will be missed for sure.

May it one day be said of me that I loved like that...

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

I have continued to ponder Cindy over the past day or so. I think it is a great witness to the witness she showed to all of us that didn't truly know her offline, but we did know her. When I am asked what a Christian lady is I think of two people first. I think of my step-mother whom is an incredible Christian women and Cindy. I told my girlfriend about Cindy the day I met my gf. Cindy is that special to me that in the first conversations between my gf and I that I mentioned her.

She was a treasure and, as if it needed it, heaven is much richer with her there. What a women!

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

Cindy and I joined here and the GNC group around the same time. She was always more out going than me here and found her niche. I'm not real sure that she was the same Texas Granny in the earlier forum as I was the one who mentioned this one to her.
She was very diversified in her contacts but she sure ALWAYS made an impression.
If any of you were her FB friend you may know she also played GAMES( who would guess) the latest being a HOG one solving crimes. We were both in groups for this game and one has made her an Honarary Admin and are dedicating this saturdays Add-A-Thon to her. She touched so many lives and was the same sweet person where ever she was. I am Blessed to not only have been her SIL but she was my dear friend and buddy. I miss our Good morning PM's on FB !!

Re: Memories of Sister Cindy Nash.

AFF will never be the same without Sister Cindy Nash.

Cindy was the only person on this forum who invited me to be on her Facebook. I could feel her Christian love and acceptance just like Jesus loves and accepts the unlovable.

My heart has been heavy at her passing, but I know she is in a better place reaping her rewards that Christ has given to her. Down here, she displayed the fruits of the earnest of her inheritance.

Now the good Lord saw fit that it is time she is receives all her inheritance. Although we will miss her terribly, we should rejoice with her because we will meet her again when it is our time to be called home.

May God Bless and comfort Cindy Nash’s family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

I will always remember her kindness.

No deadline, but I know they will appreciate the help to cover costs of the funeral.

The Mrs, as soon as you feel it's appropriate, go ahead and send and people can still contribute and as long as we get something earmarked for Cindy it will be sent to the family.

Thanks!

She has touched so many lives and it's so rewarding to read how much she meant to everyone.

Someone mentioned a moment of silence - - I think the silence of her not being here is deafening.
