Re: Do Fulfilled Eschatologists believe in hell?

2Co 4:4 KJV In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The god of this world is the devil, since all of this world and everything in it is not of the Father.
Mat 4:8-9 KJV Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; (9) And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Satan is a real and personal spirit. He is an intelligent single being. He usurped the world from Adam, making him god of the world. Jesus never said the devil did not have authority over the world.
1Jn 2:15-17 KJV Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not the god of this world. What is of the world is not of God, for if He was, then all that is of the world would be God's!

The integral difference between the GOD OF THIS WORLD (satan) blinding the minds of people who do not believe, and God of salvation who blinded Israel due to rejection of the gospel, is that the first case shows a BLINDNESS FROM BIRTH. ANYONE born in the world is an unbeliever and is blinded by satan. If the heart turns to the Lord the blindness of the veil is lifted. But when God blinds, PEOPLE CANNOT SEE NOR TURN TO THE LORD.

The god of this world is the same one who is prince of the world.
Joh 16:11 KJV Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Joh 14:30 KJV Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Satan has influence over the world, and that is why he is called its god. If Paul meant GOD ALMIGHTY, then James would not have said friendship with the world makes one an enemy of God.
Jas 4:4 KJV Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

This is getting more painful to watch ...

Where is Benincasa?

I wonder if he holds similar view on basic doctrine ... Can the guys on the masonic forum send out an APB on the heretical minister in their ranks?

Paul did not say the devil is beside him.

Also, what would be the god of the world paul spoke of?

Great work, Blume.

Dan, I am not Dino's p.r. rep. But I do not believe that he holds to the same view as Moon.

I highly doubt he holds what can be easily construed as an anti-semitic view.

People do worship the devil, that makes him a god... Isa. said that He knew of no other.

Re: Do Fulfilled Eschatologists believe in hell?

Rev, youre totally confusing me brother. I think U said to Bro Blume you believe in demonic spirits, yet you dont believe in satan the devil as a sprititual being. But rather, if I understand U accurately, U have said that Cain was really referred to as the devil like Jesus called Peter "satan", then also the devil was fallen man, then also the devil was the jews, and then Jesus wasnt talking to anyone except maybe his self I guess as a fallen man(?) because he was battling the flesh..??
And now you said the devil is a god, if people worship him. So who are they worshipping exactly, themselves as a fallen man?

(and who was spoken of as the "prince of this world", in Jn 14 and 16?)

I am curious as to where you got this/these views. I mean, I try hard to give folks the benefit of the doubt B4 I am quik to judge their views, because I have learned sometimes they're right and I have been wrong. But all this stuff youre saying is really foreign to me, and Im thinkin its pretty far out there. Maybe Im missing something, but it seems as tho youve jumped from one possibility to the next to try to fit it into your view because theres no red man with a pitch fork tail, so there must not be a devil at all.

If you're thoroughly convinced of the accuracy of your view concerning the devil, I would be interested in reading a thorough explanation with FAIR reasoning and accompanying scripture to go along with it, rather than a scripture and a short comment here and there...

respectfully....
shag

Im not sure where all Benincasa, TK, AFP, and any other FP guys are at latley, but Im thinkin none of them "view" the devil in that same way... maybe I stand corrected...
