Today she's two months! I got to baby sit her tonight so her mommy and daddy could go out for their anniversary!

What a weekend! It started early yesterday - I took off to watch Mattie at my house all day.....loved every minute of that. Then her mommy and daddy came over after work, we had dinner, little R & R and then I went home with them to give them a break with the night feedings (so they could get a full nights sleep in).
I only got up twice and loved both times - - 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Couldn't do that all the time, but knowing they were getting a break made it worth it.
THEN.....I watched her until 2:00 today too! Gave us some good nana-Mattie time!

Renda - what a great Nana you are! Those night-time feedings can be fun (on a limited basis) - but yes, at the Nana stage would be hard to do all the time. 
She is beautiful and it appears that you have a fabulous relationship with both your son and DIL - which helps make being a Nana so much more fun! Have friends who don't have such a great relationship with the in-law and it is hard.
Mattie is absolutely beautiful!

Sweet Pea - - thanks! I feel very, very blessed.
I had a JCM school friend pass away this week, same age and she has a two year old grandson. My heart is heavy for the family and I've really internalized her passing.
I pray that I'm around to share in Mattie's life for a long time! Makes me very thankful and I feel very blessed.

Awwww, that is a cute picture.
My daughter put her house on the market last Wednesday, sold it on Saturday, made a $12,000 gain and they are moving at the beginning of December. Done deal.
