Back in the late thirties a butcher by the name of Sam was grinding ham and it seems as though he lost his his hand in the grinder. They didn't throw away the results but since it was a little bit of ham and a little bit of Sam they called it Spam. Now you know the rest of the story.

Oh yeah, The first time My wife and I went to the islands in 1989.(honeymoon) We knew some locals and they introduced Spam their way to us.It was an experience.Some awesome food you would not believe what they use it for.
