The photographer is amazing! Those are BE-OO-TI-FUL pics!
Thanx, Dizzy.

Her friend is recently married to a young man of Chinese heritage from the church. She re-located from New Mexico this summer. NM is Cass' home state.

I enjoyed the service overall .... the message by the visiting pastor, imo, was "creative" ... to say the very least.

Loved the city.

The photographer attends the church .... you probably know him. Look at the watermark on the pics ...

I'm very used to UPCI liturgy ... don't forget.

Well, I think things have changed considerably since I was there, but I will always love the Shoemake family, and yes, the city and area is beautiful. And so much to do! It was killer to come back to this one-horse town after being there. However, the cost of living there is astronomical.

This is encouraging to me, I know that so many have left them, I am glad to hear that they are experiencing revival!

It's my understanding that they are kind at a "re-gathering" stage.

You know, it's painful to go through, but I think sometimes that is what a church needs, especially if they have gone through drastic changes in philosophy.

And that church definitely has. Just from the point when I started going there, to when I left, there had been a pretty big shift, and from everything I have heard, it has gone through even more since I left.

I have to say, I always felt completely loved by that church, I have nothing but fond memories of it.

Dan the one you are using for your avatar is my favorite. Cass' eyes are piercing. Can't wait to meet her. Again, I'm really happy for you two. Like my pastor preached not too long ago, "The Miracle is in the Journey". You've been on a long one and now look at the miracle by your side.

Thanx Darse ... this morning I was meditating on the "road less traveled" ... I had no idea the road I'm on today would be part of my journey ... but throughout I've realized I have never been alone ...

My Lord, my friends, my family and my newest friends have walked with me ... and God in His grace has now given me a companion that will traverse with me for a lifetime ...

She is my miracle.
