And you most certainly DID create drama on this thread with your many posts of 'poor Bro. Epley is leaving, nobody wants him, everybody hates him, the forum isn't Apostolic enough' ... *sigh*

I have NEVER seen you back down and admit ANYTHING
even when cornered with the evidence. instead you just
hurl the same ole accusations.

Whether I'm saying it's true or not, I KNOW that many Cons
have left becase of 3 reasons not saying I agree with it but
sorry it's the facts:
1.
They no longer feel wanted on AFF because it's overwhelming
Liberal/Charismatic
2.Outside pressures not to publically associate with such people
that mock Pentecostals
3. They feel that there many here are out to destroy the church

Duly noted.

what do you think about Epley's thread here?
I think Bro Epley is a wise man, and is very solid in what he believes. I simply see his question as him being a gentlemen, and not continuing to post where he is not welcome. I highly doubt that Rico's statement is a representative of Admin's wishes in any shape or forum ().

I think that as the forum continues to be a place more liberal posters come and post, that conservatives will have less and less of a desire to continue to post here. Not slamming AFF. That is just the way it is. There is a time of fighting for doctrine you believe to be right. But eventually the fight is not worth the unending battle on these issues (that coupled with what some feel is disrespect towards doctrine that most consider apostolic). MOST folks are not going to change key doctrines they hold because of a discussion board. So it becomes a fruitless project.

Thank you Matt- I said the same thing just put differently
Yet I get accused of just trying to cause trouble.
Matt, tell me this, WHY is that some here obviously do not
want to accept what you just stated?????????????????????

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

Forums where everybody is just alike to me are very boring. I like different opinions as long as they are worded with respect.
I try to see other points of veiw...I try to see where people are coming from. Some posters have been hurt thus their posts often are bitter and they don´t even mean it like it sounds...
Sometimes we tend to take things too personal and thus hurl hard words at others defending ourselves. Sometimes it is better to back off and think before we post...

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

I hope Brother Epley stays with us. We need opinions and people with solid reputations. Brother Epley happens to be among that group.

Re: Am I being asked to leave?

I'm not so sure that the liberals feel welcome either... as soon as I start feeling comfortable posting, we get posts like this and we keep hearing how off-balance the forum is with too many liberals so when I DO post, I now keep it reigned in for the most part. I believe that part of the problem is ultra-cons just aren't used to being questioned or disrespected in any way (especially prior to the advent of internet discussion forums). They are used to everything they say being taken as gospel, so this (a level playing field) is new to them.

Thoise discussion were out the ceiling with brilliant though diverse minds. We fussed over everything. I came on very pointed(some was for shock I admit) but we had fun. Since the changing many who were posters from both sides no longer or very seldom post. But some of us have fussed for years now until we are all very predictable. But honestly I like those folks on here and have prayed for them. I have lunched with CC1 & Pianoman they are gentlemen and I personally like them. We agree on very little. Adino who I tease as being a Lutheran(although I am afraid it might be more truth than error) came to hear me in MI. I nearly had my head taken off for eating with AB who I worry about. Then those I have not met personally I also enjoy the fuss. However if I have become to obsolete for the forum I will leave relutantly but I will comply.
Steve, you would be greatly missed if you leave. I believe you are a man of character and a sincere man of God. I certainly believe God is going to rescue many more sinners than you do, but I have come to appreciate you very much.
