Re: God Does Not Use The "works Of The Devil"
Our GOD does not lie. He can change His mind, but not lie.

Is God responsible for the suffering of the innocent? My better sense says I should type, "No." But He knows about it before it happens, He has the power to stop it from happening, but He doesn't (not in all cases). With this knowledge, I still don't doubt His love for the suffering innocent or for me.

If God is in control of everything, He sure has it in a mess.
Why didn't God just kick the devil off the earth and rescue man like that? That would have been quick and easy. But He couldn't do it that way without breaking His word. So He had to make Himself into a man, to regain authority in the Earth.

Everything God wants to do in the Earth, He must have a man to speak it first. It took Him four thousand years to get the prophets to say everything He wanted to do.

Ok well uh, who is in control if it isn't God? To whom should I pray to for deliverance, change, new home? Who should I thank for my health strength and peace?

1399 in his post #61 said, God does not lie. Is that enough proof? No?
OK , You're trying to make me do all the work. Titus 1:2. "...God,that cannot lie..." but you knew that already.
There are many others also which, I interpret to mean that God cannot lie.
e.i.: "God's word: is immutable, cannot be broken, liveth and abideth forever, heaven and earth will pass away but, my word will not pass away, is incorruptable seed, is forever settled in heaven. ( II Tim 2:13) ": He cannot deny himself."

I do. My point should be obvious. With your propensity to pick and choose which Scripture belongs in the cannon, how and more importantly, WHY do you believe the Titus passage? On what basis do you keep this passage and question the validity of others?
As I've said before, you keep the Scriptures that you 'like' and state that the ones that seemingly conflict with YOUR ideas about God are mis-translated. Please tell me how do you know that the Titus passage is not mistranslated?
Marcion lives!

Come on Bro 1399, you can do better than that. God's full power is available to whosoever and all who come to Him, believe that He is, and believe that He will reward those who diligently seek Him.
BTW: The fact that man must come to God in faith, is a supporting truth to what I am saying. God is a spirit, He deals with man on a spiritual level. He answers all prayers, that are in agreement with His word, but He answers them in the spiritual world. Man must come to God in faith in order to give substance (physical form) to those answers. ( Heb 11:1)
