Interesting that your son is the one that was most affected, does he seem to be very spiritually senestive?

Thanks for sharing Sherri.
Zac always seemed to get the brunt of any spiritual attack in our home, even though at the time I would have said my daughter was the one more spiritually "in tune". I think the enemy knew that he had a great future ahead of him and wanted to wear him out!

Whenever Zac was a baby and we would fly to preach somewhere, he would start screaming in the airport and scream and scream until they almost wouldn't let us on the plane. This happened more than once, and he was not normally a crying baby. It also happened the night before Eddie would preach somewhere; Zac would scream nearly the whole night, but yet his eyes were open, but he was definitely NOT awake. It only happened on "special" occasions like this; normally he was a very placid and happy kid. We felt like the devil just used it as a distraction to keep us from sleep and to wear Eddie down before he ministered. Once Zac got to be about two years old, it never happened again that way.

OH as parents that had to be frustrating! Poor Zac. I wonder if he even realized what he was doing?

We are not supposed to be fleeing from the devil. Jesus said for us to submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, and he will flee from us "as in terror" (Amplified Version) My friend suffered no physical harm, therefore, it was a scare tactic orchestrated by the devil in a spiritual venue.

Now, to address one of your other questions, a bit more.

[#20 How do you KNOW the voice of God?] I will continue with the same story about my friend. As he was fleeing half way across the parking lot, he said he heard a voice..........!!!!! Was it the voice of God or the devil? (insert dramatic pause here).

What did the voice say??? It said: {"Now wait just a minute, Bro-Larry, first tell us who is doing the talking?"} No! that's not what it said.

It said, "Where do you think you are going?" He said, "I running for my life!"
Then the voice said, "In Eph 6, there is no protection covering your back, and if you don't go back, you will be running for the rest of your life."

Now, who do ya'll think was doing the talking? Was it the devil? or God?

After sitting in the parking lot for over an hour, he went back in and confronted the devil, who was dealing in deceptive fear, and won the victory.

He said, "I had been spending too much time looking at the devil." After thirty years, he has never had another attack.

I agree we should NOT be fleeing the devil. God gave us power over the spirits. But I am confused as to why you said since he was not harmed it was not the devil. Explain what you mean by that? IF he was harmed then it would have been the devil? How did you come up with that conclusion.

P.S. Thinking if I can recall any scripture either way on this, such as when Jesus was tempted by the devil, did he see him? Did he hear him? How did the devil tempt him???
