I received this e-mail from a person named Russell and thought I would share it with you. It seems that Russell has some issues with us in the UPC ministry. I can't say I completely disagree with him, some things are spot on, but things like this are never received well.
What do you think? Is Russell a prophet? Should his warning be heeded?

Even people that are "out there" can't always be dismissed entirely though, right? He makes at least some valid points.
Some of the things he says are indeed happening. Some are putting money before the message and for some opulence and fine clothing are more important than a prayer life.

Those points have always been valid and have always been happening. They're very general. Anybody could make those points.

None of those things are new to the UPC. Those things have went on for years among certain preachers and pastors. Old news, really.
