If he said this, then he is doing some serious back peddling or plain telling a lie.
In 1999, he chose to align himself with an accounting firm known for their protest on taxation.
Snipes consistently filed his taxes, until 1999.
Snipes never in court state that he intended to pay his taxes-- he went to court because he refused to pay taxes.
His stance was consistent with the accounting firm he chose to handle his financial interests. That accounting firm is associated with an anti-taxation movement in America.
Snipes in the past seemed to know what was going on.
I am glad I didn't see him on Larry King. His words would have contradicted his prior wards and actions.
There is no pity here for Snipes or Rangel.
