Cindy you are right there is no way to "know" but I agree with Coadie, most likely they don't change. That would mean more cost.

They would only change if they were coming into direct contact with someone's body fluids, IMO Although I do agree about the cost part.

Out of the scores of airports I have gone thru over the years, none have sinks in the areas of passenger screeing and boarding. None.
Everytime a TSA agent puts on a pair of gloves they contaminate them. The agents dirty hands contact the outside of the glove which contacts the passenger.

Re: TSA spreading infectious diseases.
List of STD's
STDs are divided into several groups according to their pathogenic causes:
BACTERIAL:
# Chancroid (Haemophillius ducreyi); # Chlamydia infection (Chlamydia trachomatis); # Donovanosis (Granuloma inguinale or Calymmatobacterium granulomatis); # Gonorrhea (Neisseria gonorrhoeae); # Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) (Clamydia trachomatis serotypes L1, L2, L3) # Non gonococcal urethritis (NGU) (Ureaplasma urealyticum or Mycoplasma hominis); # Syphilis (Treponema pallidum); etc.
VIRAL:
# Cytomegalovirus; # Hepatitis B; # Herpes /HSV (Herpes simplex virus); # Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV/AIDS); # Human Papilloma Virus (HPV); # Molluscum (MC); # Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS); etc.
PARASITES:
# Pubic Lice or, more popular, "crabs" (Phthirius pubis); # Scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei); etc. FUNGAL: # Candidiasis (thrush) (Candida albicans) can be sexually transmitted but not strictly an STD;
PROTOZOAL:
# Trichomoniasis (Trichomonas vaginalis)
Cindy which of these are passed on by body fluids?
Which are anearobic?
Which can be found in living form on a latex glove after contact?

Yuck, I don't know Coadie. Are there a lot of people walking around with these things on the outside of their clothing? I know head lice might be spread that way, if they check your hair.

Everything is infected. AIDS/herpes is not passed easily at all without being carried by something moist. Airplane seats are disinfected using stuff similar to lysol.

There is an idustry that tests for clean even in hospitals. Hospitals today fight transmission of Staph
After glancing at the screeners when I fly
They would be perfect for:

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium responsible for several difficult-to-treat infections in humans.

Yeah, and you're all closed up in an airplane together. YUCK, I'm surprised a lot of diseases don't get spread there. I guess most of us never think about that possibility. Maybe someone could suggest to the TSA about doing a better job at protecting people.
