Re: I'm Goin' UPC tonight
Sherri, You made me laugh! lol
I do know that they preach that - loud and strong when they want to impress those that preach the same thing - but deep down - they do not believe it.
There will be some around West Tenn that will call Jason Crabbs name out and preach against having him and the Baptist boy with the facial hair but - he will only do it to impress the small minded and to give his ego a boost. It won't work though - they are fighting a losing battle preaching all that! I know for a fact that some are so sick of it and won't be around long, but while they are there - they will preach the party line!

Re: I'm Goin' UPC tonight
PS Sam, read my signature line. This mutual respect between One-steppers and Three-steppers has a long standing history in the UPC. Perhaps not always nor by all, but it's still there - in spite of our differences.

Of course not. I will admit (as AB said) some tout a party line publicly while not personally nor practically adhering to the same. I am OK with that type of "progress" slow though it may be.

Re: I'm Goin' UPC tonight
Thaddy, I just made a strange observation. There are no recent postings on the Tab, yet their are 15 people reading there. I see that alot - seems it's always busy.
What's up with that?????????

Yeah, I still find myself looking for a "NEWSFLASH!" headline.

Hoovie, maybe a good point. BUT... isn't that what UPCI theology is? Aren't the Cons just being honest about it?
