Now that's straining it a bit... It makes it ok that no one specifically said this girl was backslidden because of her appearance, we can still post a young girls picture on a Christian forum and rip it apart...
I won't belabor the point.

I am in no way ripping her apart. I apologize for offending anyone.

I just read all the posts again - - no one has said anything bad about this young lady.
The discussion has been about the brooch and why is it okay to wear in your hair, but not around your neck.
Renda really???
You have a daughter of your own. Would you like it if someone copied her picture off of your fb and posted it on a forum and then gave comment on her hair, her mole, her eyes, her denominations apparent double standards??
I like you Renda... I don't like this thread.

I'll simply say to you, what I said on the other forum when a preacher's wife's picture was posted for all to see and comment...
It's simply in poor taste. I shudder to think my child's picture might be taken from my fb page and posted for comment on a forum...
You make a good point, Mrs. LPW.

Fair enough; I wouldn't appreciate having one of my daughters' photos critiqued either. My girls have quite a few photos on fb that could be analyzed and criticized for various reasons. However, I think the comments on this thread have been pretty light, and I would be more offended if the picture was of a child or teenager.
I still think she should have left off the curls in the front of her hair. The back looks pretty.

This persons picture was on fb, so that makes it ok?
So can I expect my picture may someday be taken off fb and posted here for all to critique...
This brings up a question
If I have posted pictures on Facebook, does that mean anyone can download them and post them somewhere else?
Or, if I have made comments on Facebook or on AFF, does that mean my comments can be quoted some place else or reposted some place else?
I know I have used Google to look up stuff and it has taken me to AFF so I guess stuff posted on AFF is open to the public?
By the way, I don't think anyone here was putting the girl down. Since this was a picture from GC we were just questioning "standards" and inconsistencies in "standards"
