Hey, if I'm going to be quarantined then I should have some right to reciprocate ...

Maybe I should start an office petition.
Maybe I just need a drink since my weekend just blended in to another week but this cracked me up.

Not as big of a story as some appear to think. Had the same pastor with the same people done the same thing elsewhere...nevermind.
This "established" church is a former Red Lobster building...

I looked at the church's address on Google Street View and was wondering what that building used to be...if they still served lobster, my mom would be there in an instant....

I like their "Park" event pictures. It seems like this church wa sat least attempting to touch people in their IMMEDIATE community-- beyond the walls of their church building which is something I find very commendable.

So is it just a rumor or is it confirmed? If yes, is there a why available for the us general public folks?

Re: Mark Barnaby has resigned his church? Left UPC

This church has not been UPCI affiliated for some time, though Bro. Barnaby continued to hold license with the org as it's pastor.

I am not remotely close to the situation or familiar with Bro. Barnaby in person, so I will not go into detail on a public forum such as this. However, I can say with certainty that this is not as simple a decision as merely leaving the org. Beyond that, I won't comment further. In making that statement, I am neither insinuating nor suggesting that there is some other ethical reasoning behind it either.

Good thing TP ... you've left it so vague and cryptic ...

I guess we'll have to use our imaginations.

They are not my facts to tell. The process of imagination is not one that has had any shortage of usefulness here.
