Please Pray For My Daughter, April.
Please pray for my daughter, April. Her doctor called and said some of her blood work results were not good. They told her to go to the hospital to be monitored. Apparently it didn't take them long to decide to induce labor.

April's white blood count was too low, and her liver enzymes were too high. She has had liver problems in the past.

They are still monitoring and running tests. They have not induced yet. The hospital is busy and full. They will not admit her unless absolutely necessary.

. The 4 liver tests are- aspartate aminotransferase (AST or SGOT) and alanine aminotransfarase (ALT or SGPT), which are known together as transaminases; and alkaline phosphatase (AP) and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), which are known together as cholestatic liver enzymes. Elevations of these enzymes can indicate the presence of liver disease. Did they say what the earlier values were? They will come down after delivery. She won't take statins during pregnancy. Cholesterol and triglycerides normally rise during pregnancy.
I suspect there will be a cholecystectomy in a few years down the road.

That is what I will pray for. When we get calls from the doc, it is easy to turn into fear because we don't know what is going on. It seems like there are a bunch of unanswered questions. Will they induce? when? Is there a bed? will she be admitted? We don't understand the meaning of the tests.
I will pray against fear and for a peacefull day. The Israelites cranked out millions of healthy babies because they had no lab work to worry about.
