I support neither "the doctrine of trinity" nor "the doctrine of oneness".
There is no single "doctrine of trinity" nor is thee any single "doctrine of oneness." Instead there are folks who label themselves trinitarian or oneness arguing among themselves over terms like "essence" or "person" or "offices" or "manifestations" and those folks often wind up making fun of the beliefs of others, misrepresenting the beliefs of others, and smugly knocking down straw men all over the place.
"Trinity" and "oneness" are terms we've made up to try to categorize our puny attempts to understand and explain an infinite God in finite terms.
I read theology for years (high, abstruse stuff, I can't believe I spent all that time on it!) and came to the conclusion that it wasn't getting me any nearer to God.
Try reading that same "stuff" with coffee. Coffee will almost always "bring you closer to God."
Moreover, Fogarty’s issues with Angela Driver were that she was not submissive and she wore clothing that he believed was immodest, including skirts above the knee, Kennedy said
To many in this culture not submissive = being a fornicating Jezebel witch.
okay this is just scary, I know this man and went to high school with his wife. She and I were good friends before she married him and moved away. WOW. He really has gone a stop ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty.
I have seen to many ministers "justify" things that they are afraid the congregation is not going to approve of. Hate to say it but this does sound like the case to me.
I can not believe how quickly CHRISTIANS fall in and out of LOVE these days.
