Sunglasses also provide driver safety.

If you are kicking rocks on the way to Jerusalem it's not needful, but cresting the hill at 70 mph at 6AM during a commute is another story.

It is only a sin if you paid too much for Junk shades, quality sunglasses are a wise investment and good stewardship at almost any cost.

I recommend REVO.

Consider that many Seeing Eye glasses are expensive as well, should we forgo such an invention?

No.

Therefore why forgo inventions that protect the vision we already have?

We shouldn’t. That's taking care of the temple IMHO.

Well I have a collection of sunglasses ,I guess I'm not saved after all.
My Ray-Bans have caused me to lose out.

Brother, not trying to be sarcastic or belittle your post as you seem genuinely concerned. But I am always amused when these posts about costly array come up on these forums.

I think about the last church convention I attended and the brothers in their $500.00 suits and the sisters in their fancy dresses. (Not that I have a problem with people dressing nice).

If you have on an expensive suit, a $100.00 pair of Oakleys will go nicely. I don’t think God really cares what we have on when we worship .I doubt he will notice if you have on shades or not. If any one was really concerned we would still be going to church in overalls and a flannel shirt. (Some still do, nothing wrong with that either.)

I believe these verses deal more with man’s vanity than they do with what we wear. It’s difficult to compare our time with theirs. The cost of one of our outfits would have feed them for a year.

i have never seen such as on this board. are you people afraid of enjoying life? what is the problem that all of you are in the buzz about things like guachos, sunglasses, make-up, flip-flops. who has come up with all this? we gypsies are happy nomadic people who have never heard of this. is this the self-proclaimed popes doing? this ccn person speaks of a pope on here. do all of you follow this pope?
