The life and ministry of Jesus on earth and the transitional era of time around the introduction of His gospel to the world was unique indeed.

His compassion not only led to him healing them all but feeding them physically
Mat 14:14 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
Mat 14:15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves."
Mat 14:16 But Jesus said, "They need not go away; you give them something to eat."
Mat 14:17 They said to him, "We have only five loaves here and two fish."
Mat 14:18 And he said, "Bring them here to me." |
Again, the introduction of the gospel message and the name of Jesus by the twelve Apostles commissioned directly in Christ's earthly ministry.

I do not believe the church is weak or anemic as a whole. I think many have faith and believe with all that is within them - yet receive no healing. In fact I have witnessed this many times myself I think.

Now the crux of the matter... if one does NOT "get healed" we know God is not at fault. It must be the fault of those who are crippled, diseased and ill.
I think not. The "fault" is that of Adam through whom sin and sickness entered this world.
I believe this doctrine (God wants to heal everyone before you leave this building) is responsible for tearing down the faith of many and some even have abandoned their faith because, they reason, it does not "work".
