Well, yes!! LOL!

Our garden is starting to produce, so we will have fresh veges soon - squash, zucchini, cucumbers, bell pepper, jalapenos, green beans, tomatoes, cilantro and okra! I love fresh okra!

I've only had okra one time that I liked it. That person deep fried it with a light breading. But somehow, they managed to keep the inside (the okra itself) from becoming slimey.
All the rest of those veggies - mmmmmm I don't like plain tomatoes, but I do like them used in things.
Your growing season is much, much different than ours. We won't start harvesting for a month or more. Corn will be in early July. That and strawberries are my favorites! Fresh, local strawberries will come in in about 2 weeks from now. Can't WAIT!!

Not tonight, but last week some time. Unbelievably fall-off-the-bone tender and tasty! Mmmmm. We'll never grill chops again!

Tonight, it was beef tacos, made with left-over fajita meat (skirt steak), with left-over quacamole. Not bad.

Tonight, lean roast beef w/gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn on the cob with Crescent Rolls. Tomorrow, beef stew (already in the crockpot) made with all the leftover stuff, minus the crescent rolls. Yummmmm!!

sounds yummy, Sherri.

We had chinese take-out. I had mongolian chicken (which I asked them to make spicy) and hot and sour soup.

That sounds good too! One day this week, I bought a Contessa frozen meal of Sesame Chicken. It didn't look that good, but it was really good. However, it said it was enough for three, but it was really barely enough for two people. I ended up having to cook eggs & bacon for my son, and Eddie and I ate the Chinese.
