LS is accountable to no one. No one tells him what to do, say or preach. He has boasted before about how independent his is and only dependent on the Holy Spirit. That's how all this crazy stuff has stood for years. Who is going to go to him? He seems untouchable, IMO.
I think not. If ten prominent ministers spoke up against the "crazy stuff" it would be as effective as disciplinary action.

Isn't he a UPCI minister? Or does that not mean anything, accountability-wise?
I don't think anyone wants licensing censure for every doctrinal deviation. As to the PhD, that can be changed and blamed on misinformation by the "university" that issued it.

What MOW said is so true. No one can touch him. He's extremely popular with the general population of the UPC and they just want more!
At this point, he is a total hero. How can the UPC address him? They've let this go too far and there are two problems...1) He's obtained "God" status in the movement; and 2) If they "take care of him", they'll be admitting that they've let something go for years that wasn't right.
I'm afraid he's a total loose cannon at this point.
Upon receiving this surprising information regarding these profound allegations concerning SEU and ICW I have decided that it is needful to sever ties with such institutions. I received Honorary PhD recognition through SEU through an interested contact and had no idea of its controversies. Although I transferred credits and enrolled in ICW and after many years graduated through distance learning, due to the surprised surrounding controversies, I have decided to sever all connection.
It is right to operate under high ethical standards, and I greatly apologize for any damage this has caused. I want my ministry to be one of humility and meekness. Know that I am working diligently to update my websites and info.

I know that those Aussies are an informal bunch - but I have a hard time picturing the surgeons standing there with their huge Crocodile Dundee bush knives in hand and getting ready to gut poor Lee with "Pastor Slack" in the operating theater as well, when the good pastor saves our suffering protagonist from the Fosters drinking slashers.
Could have been ICU or the Dr could have been conferring with the pastor outside

The problem is, these licensing bodies are darned if they do and darned if they don't. The organization telling folks what to preach and how to run their autonomous churches has always been a HUGE complaint.
Who here does not know a minister or two that seems to have picked up some extreme or radical thoughts along the way? Discipline them all?

Just curious, is the UPCI as fad-driven as the AG? At least in my experience, pastors will pick up the latest thing, and try to replicate it. Happened a lot during the Brownsville heyday.
