Yes education.

At eighteen, many of the bad things I fretted about are not that important now.

Everyone except me and mine are not hellbound...

1) Jesus. I didn't really begin to know him till I was 22.
2) For me everything else after that has been a process I don't regret...

1) Enjoy every moment because like the country song says "You're gonna miss this."
2) Always treat others as you would want to be treated even when it's not easy.
3) Take care of yourself: you only get one body, and how you treat your body now will affect the quality of your life later.
4) Don't live your life in fear of what could happen or what others could think of you: Be courageous, not fearful.
5) Always have faith in God.

Thank you for this list.

Re: Things I Wish I Had Known At 18

1. Choose a career that helps others; you will live a happier life
2. Choose a career that you enjoy rather than one chosen based on potential income
3. Be present in every moment. Really experience what you are doing right now rather than just being there and thinking about other things or the future
4. Stay close to your family;
5. Choose your friends wisely; they will have an impact on what the rest of your life may be
6. Do a silly, childlike thing at least once a day; skip, blow bubbles, color a picture, turn a sommersault, something; keep the joy of a child inside you - you're going to need it when life whacks you on the head
7. It's not going to be perfect - make the best of it
8. You get one shot on the merry-go-round; pick your pony wisely
9. Do at least one kind thing for someone every day;
10. Don't rush into marriage; you have time
11. Never, Never, Never stop learning
12. Never, Never, Never forget God's grace

1. That a little company called "Microsoft" (when it goes public much later) would be a good thing to buy lots of stock in!

Don't be afraid to take risks. Don't be like most folks in the nursing home living and regretting not taking risk.

Be wise with you money and take the Dave Ramsey FPU course before marriage. Saving is essential. Staying out of debt is essential.

Care more about what Jesus thinks than your peers. He will be there for you, and IF they are truly your friends they will still stick with you.

Be true to yourself.

You can put nails in the board and pull them out but they leave a hole. Just as sinning you can repent but the memories are still there and sometimes worse.

Education is important!

Be faithful to go to church and take a friend.
