Zumba Fitness workout?
Anyone tried the Zumba Fitness workout?
Know anyone that has?
I know they are offering aquazumba at the Fitness gym.
I am wondering if this would be hard on the knees.

Re: Zumba Fitness workout?
I used to attend Zumba three to four times a week with an ol' friend of mine over a period of about four months. I was also one of only four guys in the class. Anyway, it's a great workout and it's FUN too! At the time I was able to pick up a few nice Latin dance moves and lost about 23 pounds in a little over three months without dieting. Take in mind... I was building quite a bit of muscle too.
Some moves were hard on the knees. All in all, it depended upon the instructor. Some instructors focused on more bouncy and lunging moves, while others focused more on other moves. One instructor in particular would always leave me pretty sore. But even then it wasn't all that bad.
I say go for it.

I was considering getting the DVD's. I don't think I would be comfortable doing some of those moves in a class. lol

She is certfified to teach and teaches their .... BodyFlow and BodyAttack at her gym.

Thanks I'll check that out.
Did she say why she prefers the other?

There doesn't seem to be DVD's of this program. I don't live in town, so this would not be an option for me. I need something I can do at home. It is a 30 minute drive for me to go to the nearest town.
But thanks for sharing.

Re: Zumba Fitness workout?
If high impact is a concern for you, have you considered Yoga?

That's what BodyFlow is .... essentially ... combination of yoga, pilates, tai-chi.
