It's a can't-lose promise. If you ask and you get it, that was your faith at work. If you ask and you don't get it, you obviously didn't have faith. There can be no other explanation!
I guess I answered my own question! What if thousands of people are praying, but the request is not granted? Answer: none of the thousands of people had faith.

I'm with ya, Mizpeh... indeed, why even waste one's time asking God for something, if you doubt that he will give it to you? Moreover, why waste God's time in doing such a thing when there is no faith to receive?
Seems pretty simple to me...... ask, believe & then receive! The only limitation comes from the one doing these things [that's you or I], and not from the One who gives.
