I don't know the lady personally. I have her in my Facebook account. She is a wonderful writer and we all have great discussions. She is black and never gets defensive when we get technical on race issues. I didn't know this side of her and was surprised she tweeted the link. She rarely is on Twitter and posts mainly at Facebook. Let me check her Facebook page and see if she added more detail there. That might take a minute to locate.

We just had a youth function in our area and none of that was going on. I just don't see that much to be alarmed about - overall.

I don't see this type of manipulation on a regular basis, either. Usually people worship on their own, without someone whipping them into a frenzy. I have seen it, though.

This video (and the one you posted) show people sort of copying the emotional aspects of a Pentecostal experience without God leading the process. It's just weird.

I think you missed the point. Just as in the other thread, we over emphasize excitement
Not always, I don't think. When you feel the Spirit of God, you are going to get excited. There is just no way around that. Doing the Hokey Pokey is a big strange.
