I used to think this was just your theology, but perhaps your theology also reflects your attitude toward women (in your case).

Hmmm, let's see, we're on pg. 127 & you accuse me earlier of "liking to make long posts"........now my posts are too short???? Remember that bit about "saying what you mean................" LOL!

Furthermore, I'll just assume that you cannot provide the biblical example of the NT woman preacher, this should be easy enough for to do, since you believe in them.....surely there's at least O-N-E example.....right:_________?

And I'm trying to understand where you get your definition of preaching meaning "exposition from the Bible" when this letter was penned before there was a Bible.
So here's something for you, show me one example of where any of the NT pastors (we can even use the term elders) expounded from the Bible (not just citing scripture), but expounded from it. Go ahead, your turn

And when someone can, they're a know it all I suppose???????????????

Great deflection!
Sorry, Sis. Alvear, you're a woman and the person you cite is a woman -- they can't contribute anything of value here, according to RDP.

Why, glad you asked kind sir: Paul instructed Timothy, who's called an Apostle, "THESE THINGS [i.e., this NT letter] command and T-E-A-C-H."
Now, your turn, pls. provide me where a woman was instructed to do such:_____________?
Besides, they did have Scriptures in NT times. Or did they quote from their imaginations when they said, "For it is written....."???????

Nope, never said it! Now we're putting words in my mouth. Might be time for you to give up if this is what you've gotta' resort to!
It's just comical how women feel the need to "explain" to us what Paul "really" meant in I Tim. 2:11-15, since we apparently can't take his words at face value!

Need some more examples: Peter exponded from Joel at Pentecost, Phillip "preached to him Jesus" from Isaiah, Paul taught from the law & prophets in Acts, etc. ad nauseum.
Still waiting on your example of a woman doing so:______________?

Where did I ever say "I won't use" historical-cultural context:________? Surely you can fill in at least ONE blank can't ya'? Besides, my point is how does "I do not allow....." fit into merely a cultural ideaology? Are we part of the same church, or not?
