Im sure MANY there that night as the man behind me, had the same sentiment..."JINDAL IN 2012"...
WOW
After he was done... Bro Mangun said "Im still trying to convince him to go swimming with me in Jesus Name"....LOL
Then Bishop Bernard and the general Board members that were there laid hands on him and prayed.
Proud of my Governor

So, does Jindal preach and perform as well as Bill Clinton and Mike Huckabee? Maybe we oughta license them all.

I believe so too.
It's a shame they can't openly teach and preach what they believe per the original intent of the UPC's formation in 1945.

And then I was threatened with a ban for stating in another thread that there was no historic evidence for " Acts 2:38 Three Step" believers for about 1,700 years of the Church Age.
Joking about being "gay" and posting cropped photographs that made it appear that "something" was going on between preachers is "okay" but just don't state the obvious when it comes to historical records.

PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE KIDDING..... If this is indeed the truth (and I have no reason to doubt you...) it makes me sick at my stomach! I never allowed my children to joke with one another or their friends in this manner - and they knew if they did it behind my back and I found out, they would be in BIG trouble! This is NOT something to joke about! I was taught that even joking about this sort of thing opens yourself up to the enemy to attack you with this spirit. Am I the only one that was taught this?
How sad......

Re: Louisiana Gov Bobby Jindal Rocks BOTT.....
I suppose I'll be in "big trouble" and not just "on thin ice" for even bringing it up. And for the record - even though the thread was devoted to BOTT I do not feel that it in any way reflects the BOTT conference at all.
I don't know any of these guys personally but I have interacted with most online. At least one tends to be very "ultra-con" and I was surprised that he was even participating in BOTT. Most of the guys in that crowd speak of AM in very critical terms.
But, it's a thread on the Internet. It is behind a login that requires registration so I won't repost anything here.

Re: Louisiana Gov Bobby Jindal Rocks BOTT.....
Yes - if you use the same screen name on the other forum, I suppose you will find your self in BIG trouble, Mister....
I know that most "conservatives" will speak of AM disparagingly - but they will take advantage of what he offers at BOTT. I understand that your original post was not reflecting on BOTT or AM - I'm still in shock as to what you say these men were posting. (And I do understand and respect that it was posted on a private forum - however, it was still tasteless and poor judgement on the part of the posters....) JMHO.....

Well, duh ... it was obvious from the moment they didn't let me on ... that they didn't have ANY STANDARDS.

The gatekeeper wouldn't let me on at first. I sent him three emails over the course of three days that he ignored. Then I contacted the Technical Contact listed for the domain to tell him that the email to webmaster was being ignored. I got on right away after that but the gatekeeper kept pestering me with PMs asking me who I was and all. I registered with my full name and personal email address that includes my full name.
I am sort of saddened that the Technical Contact will now have to face this guy's "I told you so!" attitude. But the level of pontificating and the threats just aren't worth keeping up with people like that. And then they get ... whatever ... in their kidding around.
There was nothing like that on the "We Declare!" website that they authored.

Re: Louisiana Gov Bobby Jindal Rocks BOTT.....
My dad was the same way ... about this type of joking ...
Not sure it's necessarily true but ... it does show a generational gap in what is proper ministerial decorum ....
Brings new meaning to: ye shall know them by their fruits ... huh?

DAII - I'm not sure about this generational gap thing..... If his previous reference to the "We Declare" website gives any indication as to the persons involved in this type of sick "joking" - they aren't that far in years from me.... (in either direction)....
Proper ministerial decorum ???? Apparently sadly lacking on the unnamed forum.....
