Louisiana Gov Bobby Jindal Rocks BOTT.....
I was NEVER so proud to be a Louisianian as I was tonight when Bro Mangun had Gov Jindal come to the pulpit and greet the congregation.
The crowd rose to its feet in applause.... BUT nothing like it clapped as the man PREACHED!
Im proud of our Governor and his relationship with Jesus Christ.
Im sure MANY there that night as the man behind me, had the same sentiment..."JINDAL IN 2012"...

After he was done... Bro Mangun said "Im still trying to convince him to go swimming with me in Jesus Name"....LOL
Then Bishop Bernard and the general Board members that were there laid hands on him and prayed.
Proud of my Governor

Is this for real? If so, I am very proud of Jindal. I thnk he has a LONG way to go still though. 2012 may be a bit soon.
I will have to see if I can find this video anywhere.

Good to see the fellowship has recognized a Catholic can express faith and have a relationship with Jesus Christ! Glad also to see the response to him preaching.

Our cities former mayor and Mayor elect were both in our attendance within 2 weeks of each other. They were both Catholic. They both were allowed to greet the congregation.
We will never agree with them theologically, but we still want to build working relations with our city leaders. That is the same reason we held a cross denominational worship service and had many other churches on our platform singing and worshipping. We want to build relationships with as many churches as possible so that we can all work together for the good of our city.
Plus, we would like to win as many of them as possible.

Reminds me of Constatine and the Council of Nicea.
Then again, I've never like Louisiana or Jindal so I will find a way to criticize or downplay because that is what I will to do.
