Didn't have a choice. Someone has to clean! A facebook friend said the cleaning fairy was so overworked at her house, that the cleaning fairy died. I no longer have hope of her coming here.
I really dont post on here much...just cant stomach some of the things that I see here....but I have noticed that there are several here on "Apostolic Friends Forum" that are anything but Apostolic....and in fact will proudly proclaim that they are not.
And they love to rip and tear apart all that many Apostolics hold dear.....and then get thier shorts in a wad if anybody calls them on it. They talk about how bad the Org(s) are and how they are soooo glad they are no longer part of these "terrible' things and then cry about being "shunned' or some such.
Here is an idea....why dont you get off of the Apostolic forums and go hang out at "spiritualabuse.whine" with the rest of the malcontents and disgruntles.........
Just saying.....
Every now and again when you're reading through the threads here on AFF you come across a post like this that you have to stop and scrape off of the bottom of your shoe, and that's how to deal with posts like this.
Scrape it off your shoe and keep going. Don't stop and spend a lot of time looking at it, scrape it off, and keep on going.
I recently watched a poodle drag its backside across a light colored carpet. It was funny and provoked some "dogs will be dogs" head shaking. Compared to Deadeye's post, the poodle was being classy.
(The fact that he got an "Amen" from wholehearted ought to be a wakeup call for deadeye.)
WOW!
I actually find some morbid amusement in threads like this. Having been through it in my personal life for the last few years, I have a perspective similar to many others on here who have been excluded from fellowship over some pretty trivial matters. But I digress...
My only response would be the same one that Paul used... "for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?" ~ 1 Corinthians 10.29.
I love all of my brothers and sisters. If I know that I've offended, I will ask forgiveness. Forgiveness, however, is typically hard to come by. People hold grudges and pride does not allow them to acknowledge that they were wrong as well. Arguments, disagreements, offenses... are NEVER one-sided.

I have to admit that I LOVE threads like these. Sorry, I do. I frequently express my dislike for those that are exclusive, spiritually arrogant, self-righteous, and judgmental. And when these threads appear it's as though we can all just sit back, cease our arguments, and let all those things I just mentioned be fully displayed! I don't have to prove those things exist, I can just watch them be written for all to see!
And of course, intermittently we just throw a little gas on the fire (with provocative comments) and those elements are displayed even more clearly.
So yeah, I like these threads. And the above bolded? You are SO correct! (well, except in all MY difficulties...in MY case, it's ALWAYS the other person's complete fault! )

Agreed! Admittedly it's a "guilty pleasure" at times. I would rather be a peacemaker, though.
