God's drummer: Adam was 1st formed, THEN Eve! And Eve did not instruct Adam [and when she did sin entered, hmmmm?], but Adam was the instructor. This is a principle from the very beginning, as Paul clearly states in I Tim. 2. So, no man is not the one who taught this....God is the One who instituted this principle. And any woman who preaches/teaches is operating outside of her God given place, no matter what unbiblical excuses they belt out. Perhaps I could somehow get you a copy of my book entitled, "What about Women Preachers?" I go from Genesis to Rev. in dealing w/ this issue & dive deeply into the Greek syntax of the NT. You still did not give me scripture in OT that forbid a woman to expound the scripture.

What do you suppose God ment when he gave Adam a help meet. That Eve was just his servant. I DON'T THINK SO !!!! But is you want to keep you wife subdued and go back to Judism and be in the class of people as the pharisee. (and we know how Jesus thought of them) Go right ahead. If you need to have a man pastor in order to be save keep right on with your ways that is the same as Paul addressed those Christians that refused to eat meat in Romans 14 he called them week Christians. And he told them not to judge the Christians that allowed themselves to eat meat.

Just as Jesus said to follow the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law. Some out there need to understand just what the writer is saying and why and to who instead of taking everthing so literal. If the Jew of Christ day had not taken prophecy literal, looking for a literal kingdom they would not have put him on a cross.

Paul explicitly forbids women teachers/preachers in I Tim. 2, buttressing his argument by refferring back to the creation order [OT], same Holy Spirit.

Besides, what passage in the OT explicitly says it's okay for women to pastor? See how easy it is to turn this around? This seems silly since Pastors are for the NT church economy, not the OT. Just another desperate attempt to preove what's not found in the text of God's Word.

WOMEN OUGHT NOT TO PREACH, TEACH, OR EVEN SPEAK IN CHURCH!!

If they have anything to say, they need to politely ask their husband at home if they can speak, then, with downcast eyes and a humble spirit, politely ask their husband the question!

When they are praying for the Holy Ghost, we have a little side room that we take them to. It is decorated like a front room, sofa etc, that way they can speak in a HOME atmosphere and we are not violating the Word!

When they are praying out loud they have to rush to that room so that everything is in order.

Sometimes it gets a little busy, women rushing back and forth, but it is Biblical!

We have a man who monitors the situation, and if the women get out of hand he sends them backto their husbands for control!

Everything done decently and in order!

How is it done at other churches?

It's not in the WRITTEN Scriptures.
It's in the ORAL TRADITION Scriptures.
