Would helping them make the best hornets to shoot in class in disregard for the teachers authority be training them in the way they should go? Just a yes or no answer will suffice.

I get amused sometimes at how seriously some folks take themselves.

I break out in goose flesh just from the fearsome stuff I read sometimes.

I guess I could tell about Alfredo, the hood from the big city who moved down into our neck of the woods and thought he was sure enough bad medicine, or another dude from Brooklyn with similar delusions.

A few of those found out that things work a little differently when they don't have the gang around to back their play, and they have to stand up on their own hind legs...

Anyway, I have said about all on this I care to.

I think some of the hand-wringing and lofty condemnations are silly, to tell the truth.

But by all means carry on.

The forum is getting more traffic because of the entertainment factor.

My son is all boy and he gets in plenty of mischief.

My father never taught me how to make hornets. LOL.

I was never taught how to fight but I could take care of myself if I needed to. I was more prone though to helping someone being bullied on and stood up to a group of boys one time when I was about 8 years old because they were picking on some boy I didn't even know. I told them in no uncertain terms to leave him alone and they gave it up!

But the issue here is that these boys are doing this stuff IN SCHOOL where such behavior is against the "rules."

Rigid adherence to all rules is UNNATURAL. Perfection is a goal to be attained by GROWTH and not by INSTANT attainment.

Unnatural perfection????? Are you saying Jesus was demaning "unnatural perfection" when HE SAID to be perfect even as our Father in Heaven is perfect?

Yes. That is if he meant for that state of perfection was something to be instantly attained without the benefit of growth.

Jesus was not RANK NUT. Jesus was no IDIOT!

He knew full well that perfection was attained by wisdom, growth, guidance of which all is accomplished by love.

I'm not suggesting that any human will ever meet that standard here on Earth (though that is no excuse) but to call what JESUS commanded "unnatural" (contrary to nature, contrary to God's created design) borders on blasphemy.

Instant transformation into a state of perfection is totally unnatural. Jesus did not have a limp wrist either. He probably made a few paper hornets himself when he was a boy. Yet, he never sinned.

Gracious! Some peoples attitude of Jesus make him so unnatural and far removed from his humanity when he was here among us, until he is perceived as some unnatural humanoid totally unlike any of us. No wonder some people never ever come to really relate to and come to know Jesus.

Believe me. Jesus made paper hornets. He probably had a few cow patty wars too when he was about nine or ten. So feel free to call it blasphemy.
