Next thing you know we will be reading posts about how you are going to start having praise dancers at your church with those girls and women in long flowing dresses whipping those praise streamers around while Hillsong music is sung!

Praise dancers are not Apostolic. We call them Sign Choirs or Stick Choirs.

LOL!!! I saw the Tupelo Children's Mansion sign team about a year ago in Longview at A.D. Spears church do an incredible choreographed dance....er...signing.

It was funny because it was everything in a dance but the legs moving. Their hands and upper bodies were getting with it. I thought to myself "why can't they just go ahead and dance!!!".

Those teenagers were good and it was clear to me that in their private time if they wanted to they could absolutely "get down".

I am here in Chicago. Kristin is at the Willow Creek church/conference and I am down town at the NFPA EXPO. Looking forward to a night at Fogo de Chao today or tomorrow.

What is an "NFPA Expo"?

National Exposition of Pentecostal Apostolics?

Nefarious Fireplacecleaners Preferring Affluence?

National Feminist Pentecostal Apostolics?

Oh man that place is great. Reformed Dave and I along with our spouses had dinner at the one in DC on Friday. Go hungry.

Hillsong United was great last night. I can't say I loved ALL the music - but most. They do have a very spiritual element to their music ... lots of praise and prayer , even a short "sermon". It was inspiring to see so many young people that love Jesus.

Re: "WONDER" 2009 Arts Conference

My wonderful wife and I sinned (sort of) at Fogo de Chao today LOL!

I enjoyed the concert last night with Charlie Hall - more accustic than Hillsong. Also they had a short film festival that I was able to attend. That was cool. Seven catagories, seven minutes long per submssion. People would vote by texting from the audience.

My brother in law said this event is not attended by many in the "Global" group. We saw a few others from UPC - but not many.
