If you object, go through the existing legal/legislative system, while still keeping whatever laws are actually or presumed to be in place. If it's ever officially overturned, ask for an apology, and THEN stop paying your taxes.

I do not believe a man is exercising good judgment to engage in an activity that may potentially rob his family of their provision, by landing himself in jail, or spending huge amounts of money in court.

I do believe that the way the tax laws are presently applied, and manipulated by the IRS, is (probably) unconstitutional, but for now will go virtually unchallenged. I do agree that the IRS has too much power. But the only entities that can really do anything about reducing that power is Congress or the Supreme Court, and as long as they are all benefiting in some way from the present system, then I doubt anything will change.

I do not agree that taxation in general is illegal, or even a bad thing. Nor do I agree with the statement that "voluntary compliance" means I only have to pay taxes if I feel like it.
Miss B,
Thanks for taking the time to watch some of the vids & for your fair assessment of it.

"Income" by leagal definition is: Gain or Profit.
What we call wages is neither rather it is a fair and equal exchange of my time and knowledge. No profit is derived from my labor. If on the other hand, I invest my wages in an investment and make a gain or a profit, the profit portion is taxable as that is the lweagal definition of "income" nuff said.
This would be correct and as many have pointed on it is called a "corporate profit"....

Oh and just if someone is wondering if I pay taxes or not, the answer is Yes! They will railroad you and in the end it's not worth fighting BUT and I REPEAT BUT ignorance of it is not acceptable either. Just because you don't fight with your money doesn't mean you don't fight. Fight the knowledge battle and you win. Many men have fought good fights only for the judges to railroad the whole process. Don't give them that chance! Fight with education and spreading information to those who "want" to know!

This isnt a new argument but it has been dealt with by the courts.

according to the courts and according to the legislation passed, wages are income.

good grief.

The answer is don't use the brief that Ron posted its a loser. You have the right to not pay taxes, and the right to spend a few years with no income in the big house. Pretty good deal they even feed you while you are there. I will keep paying my taxes so we can house those who don't.

The IRS knows it and that is why they took out wages from the def of Gross Income back in the day. I don't care to get into all that as I really don't have time to spend which would literaly turn into weeks of posts to go through it all. That is why I post links.

Render to Ceasar that which belongs to him. Render to God the things which are His. Nuff said. *smile*
